TSA-Technology Student Assoc.

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national non-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) of middle and high school students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Today, over 300,000 students participate in TSA’s competitions, intracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, and community service. TSA is where future STEM leaders are made!

Ages

MVHS TSA is open to any high school student!

Where

Meetings are held weekly in U213 right after school until about 4pm.

Conferences

There are 3 conferences that students can compete in during the year. Each conference is a requirement for the next.

Districts: Held in early December at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

State: Held in mid-February at the Gaylord of the Rockies.

Nationals: Held in mid-June at various locations depending on the year.

EXTRA COSTS

Beyond the Membership Dues there are optional costs associated with TSA.

Districts: Usually costs under $50 and included lunch.

State: In years past costs were around $350 and includes all meals and hotel stay. However, since this will be the first year at the Gaylord, I expect costs will be a bit different.

Nationals: Since the location varies, costs do too. Costs typically range between $1500-$2100.

Other: Some competition events require materials beyond what we provide, and those costs are dependent on student choices.

2025-2026 TSA Membership Dues

Welcome to MVHS TSA (Technology Student Association). Your membership fee goes to pay state and national dues. These dues make you an active member of TSA and allow you the opportunity to compete. The dues also cover your chapter shirt, work time, and consumables. The dues do not cover your registration costs for district, state, and/or national conferences, nor are you obligated to compete in these events-but they are fun! We look forward to an amazing year in TSA!
