FBLA
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) is the oldest and largest national organization for students preparing for careers in business leadership. FBLA-PBL prepares students for “real-world” professional experiences. Members gain the competitive edge for college and career success. More than 250,000 students in 6,000 schools participate in this organization; you can join them too!
Members have the opportunity to compete for awards and recognition on local, state, and national levels in more than 70 different event categories, including eb page design, supply chain management, business plan, public speaking, job interview, and much more!

Events
MVHS FBLA typically competes/attends the following events:
- Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge (Fall and Spring)
- Colorado Rockies Business of Baseball
- District 11 Leadership Conference/Competition
- State Leadership Conference/Competition
- National Leadership Conference/Competition
- Various other events based on opportunity and timing
Membership Costs
$55 Membership/Registration Dues
This fee includes: State and National Membership fees and MVHS FBLA Swag.

Who Can Join?
All Mountain Vista High School students interested in Business are eligible to join FBLA. We do prefer students to take Business classes while involved in FBLA to help them in their competitive events.
Meeting Times
MVHS FBLA typically only meets when needed. Those meetings generally occur during Eagle Time on Thursdays.
Extra Costs
All events and competitions have additional costs (registration fees, transportation, hotel, food, etc...) that will be collected once we know who is attending.
